Peer and Family Support Group ~New~
Our affiliate is pleased to announce a new online support group has been developed, a Peer and Family Support Group. This is a support group both for people living with mental illness and the loved ones of those living with mental illness. This group is free, confidential, and peer-led. Gain insight from hearing about the challenges and successes of others and leave knowing that you are not alone in living with a mental illness or supporting a loved one with mental illness. The groups are led by NAMI-trained facilitators who’ve been there. The group will meet twice a month, the first and third Tuesday evenings, using Zoom. Click here for more details and meeting links.
NAMI also offers free Signature Classes, called Peer to Peer and Family to Family. If you are interested in learning more about how classes and support groups work together, please visit the programs page and fill out an interest form.
